During the hot summer months between July and August, Torre del Lago holds the annual Puccini Festival. The Festival takes place where the great 20th century composer Giacomo Puccini lived and worked. He arrived at the small village at the age of 33 in 1881 and decided to settle there as it fueled his creativity and captured his love of music.
